I hope that this message finds you good festive spirit. I am writing to provide an update on our beekeeping project in rural Uganda, aimed at empowering women through sustainable beekeeping practices.
We have already identified and engaged an experienced trainer who will equip our beneficiaries with the necessary knowledge and skills in beekeeping. Beyond honey production, the overall goal is to transform the lives of poor women in Hoima, Uganda.
While our ultimate project target is 65 rural women, we have so far received donations that will allow us to start with the acquisition of seven (7) beehives. The 65 selected female farmers are eagerly awaiting the commencement of the project. They have demonstrated enthusiasm and readiness to participate in the beekeeping initiative.
Unfortunately, we have received extended heavy rains, making it difficult to start the project. As we eagerly await a reduction in rainfall, so that we can kick-start the project. Our team is closely monitoring the situation.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support towards making a positive impact on the lives of these remarkable women.
We will keep you updated on further developments, and we look forward to the successful implementation of the project.
Thank you very much and happy holidays!
