Ksusha is setting the table and arranging her dolls. She has a lot to do: feed her toy friends, clean the table, wash the dishes and clothes. Ksusha loves playing house and after doing all her house "work" she loves drawing funny pictures, riding on a swing and talking to grown-ups. Ksusha would really like the grown-ups from her family to be in her life. She is a 10-year-old girl living in a specialized orphanage for children with disabilities and dreaming about having a family.
Shag Navstrechu's workers support Ksusha and other 60 children with disabilities living in one of the orphanages in Saint-Petersburg. The project is aimed at organizing and providing a timely check-up, treatment and rehabilitation to children to improve their health. It will help them to gain better control over their bodies and in some cases to learn how to walk!
To help Ksusha and 60 other children from the specialized orphanage to explore themselves and the world around them, the Foundation has launched a medical project that will help to improve kids' health - provide them with all the rehabilitation courses needed, wheelchairs and technical means of rehabilitation. The money will help with the implementation of the whole project.
