A planning workshop for managers of New Citizenship Living Centers was held in Beijing during 27~28, April 2013. There were about 30 participants including volunteers, health workers, project managers, and respresentatives from other NGOs and providers who provide services to migrant community in Beijing. This two days workshop reviewed all activities in the 5 new citizenship living centers in both Shanghai and Beijing and made an action plan for next 6 months.
The funding raised from GlobalGiving will be allocated to all 5 new citizenship living centers for setting up additional classes for both migrant women and their children. The report will be first available in official blog of new citizenship living center in Chinese. Then project manager will arrange the volunteers translating those reports into English and upload to GlobalGiving.
Additional funding raised will be used to recruit more mothers and their children for training. Hope you can continue supporting us. Xintu has capacity to training of 150 migrant women and children per week but only 60 migrant and children trained each week now.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
