Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools closed and had to migrate their educational model to an online system, generating negative consequences on the development of the social tissue, especially in the most vulnerable communities in our country.
With the purpose of changing this situation and contributing to the comprehensive well-being of boys and girls, at the end of 2021 we carried out a program in schools of three rural communities in the state of Puebla, which consisted of giving teachers training sessions in highly relevant topics such as: life skills, learning through play, techniques for teaching through art, use of creativity as a means of social cohesion, elimination of psycho-social barriers, management of emotions, among others.
Later, in February of this year, we held family gatherings to share the artistic creations of the boys and girls. Showing creativity and how with the use of disposable materials they were able to give life to works of art, allowed families to realize the importance of sharing experiences in person and reinforce interactions as a community to recognize each other as part of the same team.
Today we know that communities commitment is vital to promote changes at a personal, family and, therefore, social level. That is why we want to give continuity to this great project and continue generating positive changes in the environments of the communities in Mexico. With your donation you can help us make it possible... we count on you!
