Dear Donors,

Thank you for your generous support of the Help Medical Personnel Envision AI-driven Careers project. Your contributions made it possible for us to successfully complete the first phase of this important initiative.

We are pleased to report that the first training was held on May 25, 2026, at the auditorium of the National Human Rights Commission in Abuja, Nigeria. We are sincerely grateful to the Commission for providing the training venue at no cost, as the objectives of the program aligned with its mandate and interest in promoting knowledge and responsible use of emerging technologies.

The response to the program exceeded our expectations. A total of 578 people registered to participate. Due to space and resource limitations, we shortlisted 53 participants for the first phase, along with three expert trainers who facilitated the sessions. The participants included medical professionals from different backgrounds who were eager to learn about the growing role of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

Facilitators
1. Ibrahim Adebayo (Technology Experts) - NativeEdge Technologies
2. Dr. Ruth Faasema (Medical Microbiologist / AI Advocates) - Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research
3. Moses Mangs (Cyber Security Personnel / Head of IT) - Soghai Health Trust Limited

During the training, participants received learning materials including jotters and pens. Light refreshments and transport stipend support were also provided to help reduce participation barriers and encourage attendance.

Our original plan was to conduct a three-day training program. However, the level of interest and enthusiasm shown by healthcare professionals has encouraged us to continue expanding the initiative. We are currently planning the second phase of the program and remain committed to delivering the third phase as well.

After completion of the third phase, we will provide a detailed financial report showing how project funds were utilized across the different activities.

Thank you once again for making this first training possible. We are grateful for your kindness and belief in the future of healthcare education. As we continue expanding this initiative, additional support will help us reach more medical personnel who are eager to learn about emerging opportunities in healthcare and technology.

We look forward to sharing photographs and further updates from upcoming training sessions.

Warm regards,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
