LIFT International formed to end human trafficking by partnering with law enforcement agencies to help victims through prevention and prosecution. We offer comprehensive trafficking case management services that include investigation, legal support, social work, and forensics. We analyze data, investigate Child Sexual Abuse Materials (CSAM), and provide evidence to law enforcement. Recently, our focus has shifted to combating child online sexual exploitation, which increased during the pandemic.
Online sex trafficking, grooming, fake relationships, and sexual content exchanges are prevalent issues,with the youngest victim being just 2 years old. 31% of children aged 12-17 with unrestricted internet access have been sexually exploited (Disrupting Harm Thailand Report). Sextortion through blackmail is also widespread; however, only 47% of children know how to report abuse, limiting survivors' access to legal help. While Thai law is improving, resource gaps still exist in government units.
LIFT enhances the ability of law enforcement to combat child exploitation more quickly using advanced techniques and a victim-centric approach. Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) protects exploited children, represents survivors in court, and supports law enforcement in identifying offenders. We collect key evidence through surveillance and digital extraction, and we have a special operations room to analyze sensitive material. We also provide quality care to exploited children and their families.
LIFT aims to free the exploited from sex trafficking and restore their dignity and security. The justice system is empowered to enforce anti-trafficking laws, and victims are provided holistic support to live in safe environments where they can pursue their dreams. Survivors receive legal assistance to seek justice, while offenders are held accountable to prevent future trafficking. At LIFT, we lift survivors, standards, and justice.
