The Civic Association SME SPOLU organized the First Charity Ukrainian Market on April 8th 2017 (Saturday) at the Old Market Hall in Bratislava.
The event focused on presenting the activities of the Ukrainian community in Slovakia with a focus on their traditions. The event included a cultural program, but also a tasting of traditional Ukrainian dishes.
In the last three years, due to particular events happened in Ukraine, Ukrainians have come to the first line of migrants heading to Slovakia.
Visitors had an opportunity to buy the Ukrainian food and sweets, traditional crafts such as Ukrainian embroidery, textiles and many other handicraft products. Ukrainian volunteers have prepared the traditional and festive dishes, salty and sweet delicacies. For art lovers, fine art exhibition was realized by the Ukrainian artist and her Slovak pupils.
SME SPOLU cordially thanks all the donors on behalf of all the children from Luhan Regional Children's Hospital and their parents.
