When Kathy came home for Christmas with her children, she knew she wasn't going back to France. She contacted us as soon as she arrived and asked us to help her.
Kathy moved to France 1.5 years ago for her job. Her husband joined her and found a job. The more she moved up in the company, the more her husband became abusive. Kathy was happy in her career and her children were happy living in France, learning French and experiencing a different culture. But the abuse was too much. Her husband was also beginning to abuse the kids and she wanted to get home to the USA.
Kathy feared her husband would file a Hague Petition to try to force the children back to France. He did. We were able to secure an attorney for Kathy because of donations like yours. Even though her husband filed a Hague Petition, Kathy prevailed and was able to keep the kids in the USA.
Thank you so much for helping us keep battered American mothers with their children!
