Almost all schools in Haiti are privately run - familes have to the tuition fees, buy books, and uniforms to send their kids to school. The average Haitian only earns $1 to $2 US per day. Imagine taking care of your family with so little. Many families are left with the uncomfortable choice of picking which of their children go to school and which ones do not.
Based on what we see in the Montrouis community, an average of about 75% of the kids go to school. Less attend or complete High School.
Think about how you can make a difference in a students life. Together Life Connection Mission has been able to help thousands of students. LCM operates a school from preschool through High School, a college preperation program, and will soon be opening up a vocational school.
