Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY):

PKMKVY is a flagship outcome-based skill training program of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The program aims to enable and mobilize a large number of Indian youth to take up skill training and become employable. In a week's time we will be signing an agreement with RIIT (Rajdhani Institute of Information Technology),Bhubaneswar to conduct a skill development training program of 4 years from Oct,2016 to Oct,2020 year in three areas at our centre.

The training will be given in the following areas.

1.Sewing Machine Operator and Self Employed Tailor
2.General duty assistant(GDA),
3.Organic Grover and Dairy Farmer.

Mrs Babita  and Miss Rajani  who are the students of our Vocational Training school have been selected to take training to become trainers for PMKVY and they are going to attend a workshop for three days at IIT Bhubaneshwar from 09/13/2016 to 09/15/2016. Some more of these classes would be held in October 2016, were we will be sending more students.

Forming Women Self Help Groups (WSHG):

We formed 3 (WSHG) Women Self Help Group in the Manderia and Surudi. The groups are WSHG NO-69,SANTI WSHG NO-98 and SANTI WSHG NO-148. The members were trained in Santi Workshop. Mrs Nilima a member of SANTI WSHG NO-98 Manderia, Rajgangpur started the grocery shop through the Bank Loan Rs.2,00,000.00 by support of SANTI.Mrs Boby  a member of SANTI WSHG NO-69 started her grocery shop and is earning a minimum of Rs.6000.00 per month and is maintaining her family with that income.

Computer Literacy Program:

A computer literacy programme has been started by the Nodal Agency DishaaPro at IIT Bhubaneshwar from 1st Aug. 2016 in our SATNI training building.
