Sunita & Survi Got Job because of SANTI Training

By Ashok Dandpat | Project Lead

Dear friends we have some exciting news to share.

Sunita and survi joined SANTI sewing training classes since last couple of months. They were trained to make Indian clothing. Mr Pati came to know that there are job openings in Jana Sikhya Sanstha (JSS). Mr. Pati inspired them to apply for the sewing trainer positions in JSS. SANTI provides certificates to students who finishes the training, so Sunita and Survi had obtained certificates. They were shortlisted for interview and luckily got the job as a trainer. They will receive a monthly salary of INR 5000. Truly is it is one of best achievement of SANTI to provide them permanent employment and this is only made possible by training we provided in SANTI. We really thanks for your effort to support us in running the training center.

We wanted to provide better training as we felt the need to improve the current level of training. We came to know about Mrs. Sangita a long time trainer. She is really interested to join us she had couple of decades of experience as a  trainer. We expect our students to be better at sewing under her guidance.

Roshni, Warden or Caretaker of SANTI Children is also interested to learn sewing. She is now making the dress and blouses and earning monthly INR 1500. Other learners Jashita, Sanju, Suganti, Poonam and Albina getting trained on few sewing technique such as hemming in summer vacation.

Rajgangpur City Municipality Chairman and Vice Chairman along with executive members visited our Child Labour Vocational Training Center. They were highly impressed about the progress we made so far. They also approved to provide four (4) street light that connect our training building to the main road. Previously the road to our center was dark from the interstate. This is a great recognition for SANTI from local authority. As they help us in long run when we need their support and face any future challenges.

In the month of April 2016 we have got an order from our local political party Mr. Narayan Prasad Modi (leader of BJP) to prepare 15nos.of flag. We have income Rs.2000/- from this programme. This was boost to our students moral as they earned their share.

We are doing our best to serve the community to improve the current state of people by education and employment. Please do contribute to your level best.

Thanks
