Help Indian Girl Not Work But Go To School

In early childhood, Nelan lost her mother due to malaria. Her father and Nelan both were working in local factories but unable to meet the end need. Even Nelan and her dad used to collect seeds and leaves from forest and sell others but still were unable to bring food to the table. With many hours of hard work Nelan was sort of tired and no interest for study or learning new skills. You can imagine the natural tendency to first find food then think about other needs.

During a survey in that area, a SANTI volunteer came to know about Nelan and asked to join SANTI Child Labor elimination school. Nelan was pretty excited and didn’t even think twice. She joined the SANTI Child Labor Elimination School established by solely by your donation. Along with study, she learnt sewing and alteration. She made Indian Blouse, Petty coat, Salwar Kamiz etc. These were sold to local shoppers. Last month she earned about 3400 Indian Rupee. This is a pretty big achievement for Nelan and as we discussed her dad is really proud of Nelan.

Nelan and her dad are both happy and this is possible because of your donation and support to SANTI. We need your support to finish the roof building project. Nelan and others do alteration work under the building that we are finishing now.
