Hello Friends,
Hope you will have excellent upcoming holidays to enjoy quality time with friends and family.
We have two great news to share and I am excited to see this happening.
At the end of November, we started to provide sewing training in our newly partially built building. It was the initiative you remember about “build the roof” project for needy children to provide training. Due to low funding, so far we have completed only one room and using that to train students. We are thankful to all of you for supporting building the roof project.
But there is another and bigger achievement for SANTI. Our students were able to generate 4500 Indian Rupee by making ladies clothes supplied to local tailor shop. SANTI students are consistently trying to fulfil shop keeper's requirements. It is our first step to generate money for the SANTI beneficiaries. We are emotional at this juncture and driven to bring more positive results.
During my India trip, I realized the shortcomings of this project and became little more thoughtful. Thank God, few people and ideas all worked together and it is a great turnaround and now is the time to celebrate and even work harder.
