Selling in Rajgangpur Mahotsav (Festival)

Dear Friends,

We are having a great time at SANTI and excited to share our experience in past quarter.

We have sold soft toys and women dresses in Rajgangpur city wide festival named Rajgangpur Mahotsav. All products are hand made by students from our child labor vocational training program. This training helps them to be self-sustained and earn for their livelihood. Together we earned INR 8,500 and this inspires our students.

We have started a new batch of students in our sewing course. All these students are energized by the response from Rajgangpur festival.

Santi received the block level Youth Award from Govt. of India through Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. This award was due to our meaningful and result oriented involvement with youth of rural Rajgangpur area. We are proud to be a part of this award and received INR 8,000 in addition to a certificate.
