Hello Friends
Few years back, we started our program to train sewing and alteration. Recently we have started health care training. It is a big step and needs tons of volunteer hours and preparation. We are one of those few nonprofit organizations who has the ability to run multipurpose health care training program in rural areas. We have been running a health care training program to train 27 poor tribal girls. These programs are supported by Puri School of Nursing and ITDA of Sundargarh. We are committed to provide them employment after the training. Providing employment is a long lasting battle but we are hopeful to succeed on this effort.
We conducted a conference “Neighborhood Youth Parliament” that involved 45 youth girls from rural areas. This conference was aimed to inform opportunities available for youth in our community. This was highly appreciated by attendees as was eye opening for them.
A national cement production company, OCL supported the celebration of International Women’s Day at SANTI. This was packed with inspirational speeches from local successful women from the OCL Organization. They also discussed women empowerment and improvements for poor women.
We are thankful for your continued support for all of our activities. Without your support we won’t be able provide such great training programs to local youth.
Thanks for your support.
