The Harris Golf and broader Fourteen Clubs Golf Academy continues to demonstrate meaningful progress and impact through the consistent advancement of its junior golfers to the national stage. This year, eight players—six girls and two boys—earned selection to the Bahamas National Junior Team, with an additional two players named as alternates. Boys 18U- Aidan Gorospe; Girls 18U - Maddison Carroll and Chemari Pratt; Boys 15U Alternate- Deandrey Poitier; Girls 15U- Haley Hall and Anissa Robinson; Boys 13U Alternate- Jervarie Dawkins; Girls 13U- Zion Poitier, Zaire Poitier.

Notably, eight of the fourteen total national team representatives are products of the Harris Golf Academy and Fourteen Clubs Golf Academy systems. This strong representation reflects not only the depth of talent within the program but also the effectiveness of its structured training, mentorship, and competitive exposure.

Beyond team selection, the Academy’s athletes are achieving success at the regional level, further validating the program’s developmental model. One player, Maddison Carroll, currently holds the Girls 15U title at the Caribbean Amateur Golf Association Junior Championship, while another, Anissa Robinson, secured the 2024 Girls 13U championship. These accomplishments highlight the Academy’s ability to nurture players who can compete and succeed against the best in the Caribbean. The continued emergence of high-performing athletes is a direct result of sustained coaching, access to facilities, and a culture that emphasizes discipline, growth, and competitive readiness.

These milestones underscore the Academy’s ongoing commitment to expanding junior golf opportunities in The Bahamas. Through consistent programming, tournament preparation, and holistic player development, the Elite Academy is not only producing elite competitors but also contributing to the broader growth of the sport nationally. Support from GlobalGiving plays a critical role in sustaining this momentum—ensuring that young athletes have the resources, access, and guidance needed to reach their full potential both locally and internationally.
