Global sorority has just returned from Vietnam.
When there, we collaborated with the United Nations school in Hanoi. We trained an amazing group of future world leaders, who between them represented 11 different countries, including the US and Canada
Part of our long term sustainable strategy is to offer our leadership and self development workshops on a fee for service basis to communities and schools which can easily cover the cost, and proceeds from that will then go to provide the same learning for a group of girls in their country or community who would otherwise not have access to this essential education.
In Vietnam because of our work and connection with the UN school, we were then able to work with an organization called Blue Dragon, that works with at-risk youth, and survivors of sexual trafficking, and we were able to give them the leadership training as well.
Participants of both groups rated their overall experience and their self-development by sharing where they were at the beginning on a scale from 1 to 10, and where they were by the time they had completed our EOS training.
They answered questions in areas such as:
Confidence
Self acceptance.
Self love
Communication skills
Healthy choices
Leadership
And on the level of self belief
I am good enough
I am strong enough
I am capable
I am confident
I am a good person
My thoughts and feeling s matter.
We shouldn’t have been surprised, but their outcomes were quite astounding!
Many started off on the low end of the self evaluation scale, (regardeless of socioeconomics, education or or culture. This shows that these vital internal foundations have little to do with the external) However by the end 100% of the girls had improved in most of the key areas. Many girls noted an increase of double where they had started out.
These soft skills may sound intangible, but starting from the inside, and building a strong foundation of who we are and how we perceive our self-worth and capabilities, gives us all an immense advantage when it come to our leadership at work, and in our lives. We know that this kind of developmental learning about self and others is what is going to give girls the positve tools they need to move forward. Formal education alone is not enough.
We couldn’t have done it without you! Even though it is our goal to become self-sufficient future we hope that you will stay with us as we grow.
We want you to remain partners and supporters of our work, because you believe in it, and you want girls to experience equal human rights and to help lead our future… Not because you have to.
Our chapter in Mexico has be doing phenomenal! Please see some of the work that has gone on there since we started a year ago.

Please enjoy these photographs. Each of the girls from both the UN school and Blue Dragon created a butterfly with their positive transformations written on their wings.
Warmly
