Hello our valuable supporters! We are delighted to share with you the update on the reusable pads to girls in Korogwe District. Our organization , Social Community Forum has implemented a reusable menstrual pads distribution project in Korogwe, Tanzania. A total of 30 reusable sanitary pad kits were distributed to 30 girls and women, with each beneficiary receiving one kit. The project aimed to improve menstrual hygiene, reduce school absenteeism, and promote the health and dignity of girls and women. Beneficiaries received training on the proper use, washing, drying, and safe storage of reusable pads. The initiative helped reduce the financial burden of purchasing disposable sanitary products. Community members welcomed the project and expressed appreciation for the support provided. The intervention contributed to better health, increased school attendance, and the empowerment of girls and women in Korogwe.
Yours Sincerely,
Pauline,
Director of Social Community Forum.
