Despite the ongoing war and continued strain on Ukraine’s healthcare system, cancer treatment remains urgent and uninterrupted care is critical for survival.
Through the Ukraine Cancer Relief program, Mission Kharkiv continues to support patients and healthcare providers by ensuring access to essential oncology medications across the country.
In this reporting period, we provided a total of 835 units of life-saving oncology medicines through 150 distributions.
Out of this number, 500 units were delivered to healthcare facilities, helping hospitals maintain treatment protocols under extremely difficult conditions.
The remaining 335 units were delivered directly to patients, supporting individuals throughout their treatment journey.
This support reached 133 patients in total, including 96 women and 37 men, each navigating cancer treatment in the context of ongoing instability.
Distribution activities were carried out across several locations:
Each location reflects different realities of access, yet the same shared need, continuity of treatment without interruption.
Ukraine’s healthcare system continues to operate under pressure, with disrupted supply chains and limited predictability.
For oncology patients, even short delays in treatment can have serious consequences.
That is why consistency in delivery is essential.
Every unit of medicine represents more than medical support.
It means time, stability, and the possibility to continue fighting.
We are deeply grateful to our donors and partners whose support makes this work possible. Your commitment ensures that people facing cancer in Ukraine are not left without treatment in the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Thanks to your support, treatment continues. Care continues. Hope continues.
