Aparis CDP is a program that targets critical humanitarian needs in Aparis Village, Kumi, Uganda, supporting over 1,000 orphaned, starving, and vulnerable children.
There's a severe famine affecting over 500 very poor, rural children below the ages of 12 and over 300 vulnerable families in Aparis village of Eastern Uganda's in general. The need is real and immediate.
The program locally-runs 5 village feeding centers to provide direct meal programs and emergency food aid to critically starving children and families.
1. Support the purchase of specialized, highly nutritious meal formulas. 2. Volunteers : Help hand-pack meals or organize community food drives. 3. Local Efforts: Connect with regional groups running school lunch or community outreach
