This Ukrainian family is going through a difficult time. Leaving the shelling, severe female surgery, and the destruction of their home are not the only challenges they have faced. Svetlana is raising a child on her own in a strange city, in a rented apartment, and really needs support!
Before the war, the Ukrainian family lived in the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. Currently, they have been forced to move to a safer region due to constant shelling. They rent a small, one-room apartment where the mother and child share. During another shelling, their apartment was damaged and needs to be repaired. Svitlana also needs to be examined as she has undergone a major female surgery.
This family has no father. Svitlana is raising the child on her own. We believe in the power of communities and human compassion! Together we can help these people survive in such a difficult time!
