In an effort to give young children an early start, AIL includes pre-school and kindergarten programs at some of its learning centers. These classes provide introductory lessons on subject matters that they will study if admitted to a regular school setting. For many young Afghans, this type of program would not be available to them without AIL.
A mother of a kindergarten student writes that she has a very positive opinion of AIL kindergarten programs and lesson methods. “My daughter attends AIL’s kindergarten with lots of interest and has no complaints; she praises her teachers a lot and loves them very much. I express my deepest thanks to AIL teachers and staff.”
