Greetings;
First, I would like to thank you for your generous support of our project to help Educate 400 students in Guyana. Since we started the project in December we have expanded our work to include a second school. We will now be working with Timehri Primary School and Golden Grove Secondary School.
For Timehri, we have shipped a box full of teaching supplies, such as math and vocabulary flashcards; schools supplies such as pencils, crayons; over 400 books including books by Caribbean authors; and equipment which include a printer for teachers.
For Golden Grove, we have shipped 400 books for their library. We will also partner with another organization, Victoria House Foundation, which will set up computer lab for the school.
We are very excited to travel to Guyana next month to personally deliver the supplies to both schools.
Once we have completed the project we will follow up with a second report detailing our work.
