Blossoms of Guyana will provide books, school supplies and supplies for teachers to help educate 400 primary school students in Guyana.
Many of the public schools in Guyana are severely underfunded which leaves schools without the necessary equipment and supplies to properly educate students. Additionally, 35% of Guyana's population lives in poverty, this means that many students do not have the funds necessary to provide their school supplies. Without proper funding schools cannot afford to provide libraries or sufficient supplies to schools.
We will provide books, equipment and school supplies to educate students and strengthen critical literacy skills.
