EDUCATE AND NOURISH 2,650 STUDENTS IN VENEZUELA

Thanks to your help, during this trimester, the students, their families, and teachers in La Chinita, Gustavito García Lujan, and Mama Margarita centers in Venezuela received nutritious meals and support with their education. Asociacion Damas Salesianas closely assessed the specific needs in every case. Your donations were destined accordingly and oriented towards alleviating the need for food, teacher's stipends, and computers.

During these three months, your generosity meant that:

• Every student, teacher, and worker of the Mama Margarita Center, 1,049 in total, received one pack of Harina Pan, the cornflour that makes up a large portion of the Venezuelan diet.

• We could serve 400 midday snacks during 5 days to the children in La Chinita center.

Every student, teacher, and worker, including administrative personnel of the Gustavito García Luján center, received lunch, a total of 491 beneficiaries.

• 67 teachers, workers, and administrative personnel in the Mama Margarita center, 49 in the La Chinita Center, and 48 in the Gustavito Garcia Lujan center received a stipend.

• Each one of the three centers received two computers.
