The Mission Continues believes every injured service member should have the opportunity to serve their country once again. Through Fellowships, veterans overcome obstacles and inspire others.
According to a recent survey by Civic Enterprises, 92% of returning Iraq and Afghanistan veterans believe that serving their community is important. Continued service helps acclimate these returning veterans, and provides them the same sense of purpose they felt in the military. Without this purpose many veterans struggle living in today, and focus on their past. This behavior is tumultuous and often times overshadows their potential. Our opportunity makes this possible.
The Mission Continues challenges wounded and disabled veterans to serve again in their communities through our Fellowship Program. By challenging these veterans we can make leaders for future generations, and welcome them back today.
The project will give continued support to current and future veteran Fellows by contributing to their living expenses and other needs for those participating in the program.
