Don Ace was enrolled at San Francisco SPED Learning Center school year 2006, and assisted by his elder sister Cresencia Orquillas. Don Ace is 18 years old, born on February 5, 1990 at Rosario, Agusan del Sur.He has a partial visual impairment both left and right eye. He was abandoned by his mother since 1997 until now without any reason according to his sister Cresencia. He is the youngest child of the seven sibling of the family.
During his first year in going to school many he does not know even a simple English of objects, like lamesa,bukid and others. He can’t read and write in Braille, identify the color name, shapes and sizes of things. When he walks, he was afraid to walk alone and do not know how to protect himself from obstacles. He was ashamed and aloft to entertain and talk with other children.
Today, in second year of self contained class of Don Ace, he changes a lot. He has self-confident to talk to others, walk and move inside and outside in the classroom. He can defend himself; clean the classroom and many things as his self-help activity. He can buy his snacks in the canteen. He can write and read simple words and sentences in Braille. He can sing and participates well in every school program and celebration.
