Summary

With our charity, we are promoting the idea of "sports accessibility". We aims to raise awareness of the needs of people who are visually impaired or otherwise unable to benefit from or access sport as a means of fitness, fulfillment or engaging in the community. We lobby for better facilities for the physically impaired and organizes a wide range of events to allow everyone to experience the benefits that so many of us are able to take for granted.

Challenge

Sport is meant to be equal, but it is often inaccessible, especially for people with visual impairments. To participate, visually impaired runners need: 1. Trained guide runners 2. Safe and accessible sports spaces 3. A supportive social environment Without these, many are excluded from sport, social connection, and its physical and mental benefits. This also limits public understanding of disability and inclusion, affecting the whole community.

Solution

We hold running activity every weekend, train visually impaired runners and guide runners.(2015-2025, 452 weekly running sessions | 2,500 trained guide runners | 17,000+ total participant visits | 4,600 participations by visually impaired runners ) We hold races for both impaired and unpaired people, make sure we can do sports simply and equally together. Influence the society and people's common sense for 1.Equality of disability and 2.Sports accessibility.

Long-Term Impact

1.Equality of disability We hope, with the current development of sports in China, all people who have a passion to participate in sport will do so, including those with disabilities, and to ensure that they do not find restrictions. 2. Sports accessibility Whilst hosting our own activities, we are advocating to all major sports venues and sports groups to support sports accessibility.
