Dear Donors,
To start off, thank you for your donations! These donations will continue to help enhance communities and create change in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Your support towards our student interns allows them to address major challenges in the community. Without the help of our donors, this would not have been possible. The student interns in our program have learned so much from our partners in Nigeria and have worked hard to create a better life for those in Bauchi.
On October 18th, 2021, we started construction for our new office building in Nigeria. We are happy to announce that on January 7th, 2022, the Leadership Initiatives Community Center was completed. We also were able to install wire and electric fencing to ensure that everyone there is fully safe.
In addition to this, our student interns have made large amounts of progress in our International Internship Program. In our Law and Advocacy and Public Health programs, interns have written a comprehensive brief and created a community survey regarding the advocacy/health issue that they were assigned. They now are working on developing a community workshop that will be given in their community. In our International Business and Development Program, interns have created a logo and also a financial tracking plan for their business partners. They now are working on coming up with an advertising campaign.
