Today marks the start of GivingTuesday — the biggest fundraising day of the year on GlobalGiving. For the next 36 hours, every donation made through our project will receive bonus funds, making your support go even further for Siargao.
This year, we are raising funds for something very specific and urgently needed:
Expanding our plastic processing capacity so we can keep 3–4 tons of waste per month out of landfills and oceans.
Your donation will help us:
• Improve our shredding and molding setup for eco hollow blocks
• Support our swap-for-goods program, which motivates families to bring clean and dry plastic
• Train more local youth in recycling skills and livelihood opportunities
