This project will support children orphans in Anambra State, to complete their primary and secondary education. Being an orphan is one of the worst thing that can happen to any child, as children needs parental care, support and guidance to grow and become useful and not a menace to the society. It is said that children of today are the leaders of tomorrow and as such, we must bring them up properly with the right skills and attitude, to prepare them for future challenges.
In a nation of about 206 million people, it is estimated that there are about 17.5 million orphans and vulnerable children in Nigeria. This number is still increasing due to violence, conflicts, communal clashes, banditry, insurgency, HIV/AIDS etc in different parts of the country. Children without proper adult care are more likely to be abused and exploited and are left to experience untold hardship, lack of love, withdrawal from school, poor health, psychological and emotional challenges.
We will support these children by paying their school fees and providing other necessities like writing materials, uniforms, bags and sandals to support their education.
These children won't really feel the impact of not having their parents alive and through education, they will learn the basic skills they need to succeed in life and will come out of school, to become useful to themselves, the society and the country at large.
