Overcoming challenges is what makes us strong, after a first successful stage with scratch (coding platform) and the basics of coding through games, a new milestone was set after participants faced a more “real” coding platform and learnt how to code using Processing.JS.
Though we had our initial doubts on how they would react with this new platform, we were indeed surprised on their reactions, as they felt as more “professional” programmers and they’ve created super cool apps.
Now a new challenge has started and that is programming web sites, a challenge that is exiting beyond borders and allow their imagination go wild in terms of what could happen as they go online.
On an organizational level, this November 10 we will be hosting our first festival, the “Happy Cities Festival” that intends to inspire the community into thinking the type of city that we live in and how we can work to improve it. We will also be showing our work there, so if you, or anyone you know happens to be in Rosario during that date, please stop by!
