By Luz Amuchastegui | Program Director
As the classes unfold, the kids begin to understand what the program is all about and start to create their own vision and opinion on different topics, they have made a lot of progress expressing their ideas and started a blog where they report on the news from the different activities that occur in El Desafío.
Creating a news blog, means that the kids need to be focusing on creating visual content, making questions to other participants and teachers and taking notes about it. Also putting it all together brings up some discussions on what are the priorities in terms of what should go first and what second.
The blog, also allows the opportunity of exploring different leadership roles, such as editor, or head of visual content, that we are still working on to determine the best way to implement it so that every kid has the chance of taking over that responsibility.
