During the past few months, we’ve been experimenting a bit on how kids learn, and what environments help them boost their creativity and curiosity. To prove that we tested four different scenarios: a controlled one- quite the same as what we were used to; a completely free one, with no indications whatsoever and the freedom to explore and use every single available material; an inspiration scenario with guests and visits to open new horizons; and a final project scenario, where every participant will work on a project of their choosing.
Although it is still an ongoing experimentation on our side, we have found some interesting insights already, and kids have maintained their motivation around all this changing scenarios adapting to every single one of them.
One of the highlights worth sharing was the visit of the creators of “ISIDRIX” an animated comic- Isidrix is an alien that comes to earth to generate awareness of climate change and environmental care, a topic that is close to every participant and done in a smart and fun way.
Also we just had our VI edition of the Happy Cities Festival, a platform to talk and think about the cities we live in and how they boost our development- take a look at our Instagram to learn more about it.
As it looks like we are leaving the pandemic behind, there are many lessons that this tough times have taught us, the future is not set, it is up to us to create an exciting one that is worth living. Thanks for your continuous support that allows us to create a better future for all.
