There are a lot of problems in the world. And COVID19 is making everything more complex. But looking everything with a negativity bias will hold us back. There is also a lot of good happening and we should not miss it. People are helping each other, giving a hand where they can, offering support and ideas. Of all the species in in the world, we are the only ones with the capacity to take care of all the rest. We humans are capable of amazing things, and we should be kind to ourselves and others if we want to create something better. We should remind us -and others- that we can do great things. All of us.
Of course it's a challenge, but this is a richer way to live. What are we doing to make things better, day to day? In your case, with your donations, you are supporting our amazing team and youngsters to have better opportunities.
Speaking of our team, they are working hard for youngsters in Rosario. Facing all imaginable challenges regarding the ongoing lock down since march, however we keep on providing virtual support and programs to our participants and food assistance to the most vulnerable families. Also, we started to work on a transition process looking at 2021 (and beyond), researching innovative ideas to put in place and keep on preparing the next generations of young city makers.
And regarding the future, in this case, the near future, #GivingTuesday is around the corner, it is a global movement that encourages people to give to their favorite causes all around the world. This year we want to really make it count, and we are getting help for that. Followers, supporters and fans are organizing their own fundraising campaigns to support our programs, and there are having fun in the process too (not less important)! If you want to join the movement, drop us a message on social media or to info@eldesafio.org and we can help you to plan your own initiative.
