Good news!

By Psi vodici | Project Leader

Dear Supporters,

We are happy to share some good news with you. Leone and Renato's future assistance dog is currently being trained, and they are eagerly anticipating their new friend.

As we have written to you before, an assistance dog will enable them to continue performing their daily student duties independently despite the motor difficulties caused by cerebral palsy.

During the assessment, a dog was chosen that best fit the characteristics and needs of the young man due to its mental stability and good nature. With the help of an assistance dog, Renato will be able to move and maintain his balance, while Leone requires assistance in the home environment, including tasks such as bringing items, opening and closing drawers, helping with dressing and undressing, and opening doors.

It is important to emphasize that the social aspect of an assistance dog's presence in communication with peers is highly valuable, particularly at the university.

Thank you for your support so far!
