Dear Supporters,
We are bringing you good news after the sad events we shared with you!
For our user Lucia, a ten-year-old girl with an autism spectrum disorder and communication difficulties, we secured funds to provide a new assistance dog through community sponsorships and donations.
Lucia will continue to develop, advance, and enhance her social interactions at school and in the wider community.
We are still working on getting a new assistance dog for Leon and Renato, who faced the difficult loss of their best friend - the assistance dog Fredi.
With the help of the new dog, they can continue to carry out daily student tasks independently despite the motor difficulties caused by cerebral palsy.
