Dear Supporters,
Today, we are sharing sad news with you. Our superhero the assistance dog Fredi unfortunately passed away.
Although we were aware of the seriousness of his recently diagnosed illness, we did not give up hope until the very last moment.
Unfortunately, the treatment didn't work due to the advanced diagnosis of a bone tumor in the rear left leg.
The loss of Fredi was especially devastating for twin brothers Leon and Renato because Fredi was their best friend and helper. He has helped these students to independently perform their daily duties despite the physical disabilities caused by cerebral palsy.
So, providing them with a new assistance dog as soon as possible is crucial to maintaining their quality of life. We have started the urgent process of acquiring a new assistance dog, and we hope we will enable Leon and Renato to continue developing and progressing.
