Funding goal : $5000 / Funds raised to date : $285.15

Project report due date : Sep 8, 2021 / Report sent on Sep 1, 2021

Balajothi Centre for the Disabled is a registered charitable Trust, founded in 2004, located in Bengaluru, India.  We help and support children with special needs including those with autism, cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities and intellectully challenged, from underprivileged families.  The institution was started by the grandparents of a 100% disabled child.

Ramu (name changed) is a profound level multiple disabled child with CP, autism and is intellectually challenged.  He needs help in all bodily functions including eating, grooming etc.  With great patience and effort he is now learning to chew his food placed in his mouth by the caregiver.  Similarly brushing his teeth, bathing and all physical and mental activities require patient efforts since his CP disability hinders him from doing any of the above activities independently.  Without a doubt he is one of the most difficult children with a severe CP disability.

Balajothi thanks YOU, DONOR, for your generous donation of $285.15 raised todate for this noble cause, against the funding goal of $5000.  Please rest assured that every dollar you send is being used for the rehabilitation of such children.  Your donation is making an amazing difference in his life and others and we thank you for your sacrificial giving during this pandemic time. Thank you for your concern for this community of disabled persons which is ignored or forgotten by society.

Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for bringing to the notice of humanity the existence of such disabled persons and helping their families through fundraising programs.
