Since our last update, we have continued to be inspired by the resilience and strength of the children at Christophe’s Children orphanage. In addition to the donations received through GlobalGiving, we have raised further funds that have already been distributed.
These funds are currently being safeguarded with care, as the team has made the thoughtful decision to temporarily pause construction due to the ongoing conflict in the surrounding area. While this is not the update we had hoped to share at this stage, the safety of the children and staff are the top priority, who thankfully remain safe.
This project is about more than a building. It is about creating space for hope, for opportunity, and for transformation. And while the timeline is shifted, the purpose remains unchanged. We remain committed to this vision—and we are equally committed to the long-term well-being of the children.
