By Wirkom Fred | Project leader

Sand already tranferred to the site
Sand already tranferred to the site

We are filled with gratitude to Global Giving for this opportunity and to all the donors who have ushered their hard earned money to this project (Just for the sake of these children). We want to report on the project in a brief manner. Since November, we have been experiencing the dry season which became very hash from December till now. In Kumbo, Water is a major problem during the dry season. People scramble for water throughout because most spring sources become dry. As such, big projects that need much water i.e. using Cement blocks is usually shifted towards the rainy season as from March 15th. With the funds that were disbursed, we were very busy with preparations to resume work at the project site as soon as the rain comes. From the pictures below, We were able to add more Timbers, Brought Sand to the site, Added more Gravel and brought to site, and have made all arrangements for the Iron rods, technicians. We sincerely owe much thanks to our supporters and promise that if we are given a push again we might be able to finish the first phase after this bonus Match of the 16th. The OVCs are happy participating in the getting of the material to the site when ever sand gravel and others are brought for transferring to the project site. Below we have only got photographs of the materials and immediately work resumes we are going to send updated pictures and work at the site. As we started, it will be highly appreciated if we complete the project. We are requesting all our previous donors to get involved in the campaign during and recommendations so we can get the bonus this time. Last time we only missed narrowly and this time we will make it. May God continue to bless you. I will end with a God news that We were awarded with a Partner Position and now we are looking on to getting to the Leader position. It is through your efforts.
