In 2001 the school was running under a temporary hut kind of structure and in open, for last almost 15 years and the number of kids studying were almost 300-350, but due to its temporary structure most of the days especially during rainy season, the school had to be shutdown and thus studies were affected. When Round Table entered into the scene, we were moved by the pathetic state of affairs and vowed to come back and build a school there and have now promised to build 5 classrooms.
The school is situated in the interiors of Kanpur. It is 25 km from the outskirts of the city, with Kuchha roads. Incidentally, this was the place where Round Table had setup first bore well. We will build permanent 5 classrooms and ensure the children has a permanent classroom block so that the children need not miss the classes during rains. On the contrary, a better facility will help increase the number of students in the school.
The classrooms are being built for increasing the number of students that can be accommodated in the classes. It is for the upliftment of the society at large. We plan to build 10 more classrooms to help eradicate illiteracy in the village.
