We actually believe in the above quote and think that it’s our duty to help those in need and that’s why when we got to know about the situation in Puerto Rico, we knew it that we have to do something and that’s when we came up with the idea of this project and now we couldn’t thank you all, our wonderful donors, enough to express how we are actually feeling about your help and response towards this important cause.
Thanks to all of you that soon we are going to pay for the equipments for phase 1 and couldn’t wait to share the good news with you all.
As we mentioned in our last report, the Phase 1 is about the Solar Powered communication Charging stations because a significant impediment to the recovery effort is the inability to communicate and coordinate. These stations will provide each community a location to gather and charge their cell phones and we will be training local girls on solar technology and installment at each location, and leaving them in charge of the Communication Stations.
Initially we were planning to install stations in 18 different communities but as the US just place a tariff on all solar panels coming into the US so prices have now changed by 30% so it will be hard for us to do all 18 communities but because we don’t want to wait any longer, we have begun the preparations for Phase 1 and as mentioned above, soon will be able to share the impact/good news with you.
We would like to thank you all once again for your help and would like to inform you all that we are not going to stop after Phase1 as we want to completely solve the problem. So please spread the word.
Together, we are Transforming Lives!
