You Give Them a Lifetime of Love!

By Samantha Steffens | Executive Director

Dear friends –

In the warm days of mid-summer, the BCR cats are enjoying their catios while they nap in the sun, listen to birds singing and chase after the bugs that fly in! Seeing them all content, healthy and enjoying their lives is how we live out our mission every day.

The cats themselves carry out a second part of our mission daily just by being themselves. With every live tour or chat session on Facebook, Instagram or Tik Tok, and through all our 24-hour live cameras, each BCR cat shows the world every day that they – and cats like them – are in no way handicapped and that they can and should be loved family pets.

People all around the globe see them living wonderful normal cat lives as they play and are cared for by our staff and our wonderful visitors and volunteers. It’s always our hope that by seeing them in action, others will become advocates for blind, FIV- and leukemia-positive cats and more and more will find loving forever homes.

You have an important role in enabling both parts of our mission every day. Your direct support for the cats and BCR allows us to offer them a lifetime in the safe and loving home that they deserve so much. Your donations go right to their care and for that we are so very grateful.

I hope you’ve tuned into our live 24-hour cameras and have seen your generosity in action. If not, please visit https://blindcatrescue.com/watchus.htm

With deep gratitude for your kindness,

Sam & the Cats

P.S.  Please meet our two newest BCR cats, Chief and Velcro (both FIV and leukemia positive).  Both have had their initial vet visit and we hope to get them into their rooms soon!
