To fund the creation of a real space (a house) for the FDB's children. In order to further support the development of their interests and their feeling of community, we will be hosting various events (lectures, masterclasses, talks, exhibitions, mini concerts and etc.) We will be working towards the establishment of a space where our beneficiaries will feel welcome at any time and will be able to find appropriate resources for their studies or just communicate with like-minded or supporters.
FDB has always encouraged children with strong interest in Art, Science, Sport. Our annual clubs members have inspired and supported each other, they have become teammates and best friends - and we want to provide more support to that influence. Up to now, they have had the chance to meet at our annual awards ceremony; from now on, we want them to have a place that is open to them at all times. FDB already has 13 annual clubs and we want to maintain the connection between older and newer members
After long covid months of alienation, we know it is will be more important than ever to provide children the opportunity to socialize with like-minded ambitious peers. We believe that the events and daily meetings after several months will provide additional guidance in the fields of interest of club members. Thanks to them we will be able to create intergenerational connections in our community, and that as a result, our club members will become even more passionate about what they are doing.
In order to cover the annual costs associated with the existence of such a space, we will be hosting some external events, the earnings from which will support the house. But some of the events will be held by alumni who, with their experience and reputation, will further motivate current members to continue working towards their goals, because the example is passed on. Our hope is that the connections created through this project will prove to be meaningful both personally and professionally
