DEAR ANIMALIX FAMILY!
Activities report March 2023.
Once again, we appreciate your valuable donations and trust. We would like to share with you that during the period to be reported, and in order to continue fighting the overpopulation of animals and their subsequent suffering on the streets or other spaces, we carried out 511 spays and neuters of dogs and cats, in four campaigns held on October 8, November 13 and 14, December 17 and February 25.
Likewise, 15 free medical consultations were provided (fortunately there were few), to animals that were treated for different reasons: run over, burns, starvation, blows. In several they included x-rays to know the severity of the injuries. Unfortunately 5 cases ended in euthanasia.
5 dogs were rescued: Canelita, Flakita, Dona, Mauro and Cerci, except for two the others were happily adopted, and as we have already mentioned, we delivered them dewormed, vaccinated and spay. Also, after about 2 years Elektra was adopted; a happy ending after being run over, having gone through two surgeries and four temporary homes.
We have in shelter and in search of a family for Legs, Nieve, Dori, Nikté, Flakita and Cerci. All are covered for food, deworming and vaccinations. The same for Gordo, Sonrisas, Eva and Botones, four dogs that live on the street.
On the other hand, our page facebook.com/AnimalixAC is always very active, because it is the means to make citizen reports of animal abuse, report missing dogs and cats, search for support for animals in need, etc. And only in the cases of animals rescued from the street, we support their adoption.
We continue to collaborate with other groups that defend animal rights, to put pressure on political actors to pass laws that penalize the mistreatment of these living beings. With this objective, we were co-organizers of a march held on March 12 in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez.

¡QUERIDA FAMILIA ANIMALIX!
Informe de actividades marzo 2023.
Nuevamente agradecemos sus valiosas donaciones y su confianza. Les compartimos que durante el periodo a informar, y con el fin de seguir combatiendo la sobrepoblación de animales y su posterior sufrimiento en las calles u otros espacios, realizamos 511 esterilizaciones y castraciones de perros y gatos, en cuatro campañas celebradas el 8 de octubre, 13 y 14 de noviembre, 17 de diciembre y 25 de febrero.
Asimismo, se brindaron 15 consultas médicas gratuitas (por fortuna fueron pocas), a animales que se atendieron por diferentes causas: atropellamiento, quemaduras, inanición, golpes. En varias incluyeron radiografías para saber la gravedad de las lesiones. Lamentablemente 5 casos terminaron en eutanasia.
Se rescataron 5 perros: Canelita, Flakita, Dona, Mauro y Cerci, salvo dos las otras fueron felizmente adoptadas, y como ya hemos comentado las entregamos desparasitadas, vacunadas y esterilizadas. Además, después de aproximadamente 2 años Elektra fue adoptada; un final feliz después de haber sido atropellada, haber pasado por dos intervenciones quirúrgicas y cuatro casas temporales.
Tenemos en resguardo y en búsqueda de una familia para Legs, Nieve, Dori, Nikté, Flakita y Cerci. A todas se les cubre alimentación, desparasitación y vacunas. Lo mismo para Gordo, Sonrisas, Eva y Botones, cuatro perros que viven en la calle.
Por otro lado, nuestra página facebook.com/AnimalixAC siempre está muy activa, porque es el medio para hacer reportes ciudadanos de maltrato animal, reporte de extravíos perros y gatos, búsqueda apoyos para animales que lo necesitan, etc. Y solo en los casos de animales rescatados de la calle, apoyamos en su adopción.
Seguimos colaborando con otros grupos que defienden los derechos de los animales, para presionar a los actores políticos a que aprueben leyes que penalicen el maltrato hacia estos seres vivos. Con ese objetivo, fuimos coorganizadores de una marcha celebrada el 12 de marzo en la ciudad de Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
