Luisa is 8 years old, and she lives with her grandmother. Two years ago we decided to pay for her education at a private school because of a number of her neurological problems, a complex situation in her family and recommendations of a psychologist. At that time, she was totally unprepared to learn in a state school in a large class, and she would inevitably get a pile of school problems on top of others.
And Luisa has justified our expectations! Now, after two years of studying in a private school with 5 classmates in the class we see an enthusiastic and sociable child, who look positively at learning and accepts school rules. Now she is psychologically ready to study in a large class - at September, 1 Luisa will go to the public state school!
Of course, only in the next academic year we will learn how Luisa can really study in a regular school, chat with classmates and teachers. But we believe that everything will be fine, because we see how she has strengthened because of these two years of happy school life that you helped pay for!
And other children are still in a need of training in a small private school. You could help them on July 15th, when GlobalGiving will match your donations up to $ 1,000 per donor at 40%. Only donations made by unique donors per project will be matched. Matching begins at 9:00:01 EDT (or at 16:00 July, 15 in Moscow time zone) and lasts until funds run out (there is $ 115,000 available in matching funds for all projects) or 23:59:59 EDT (at 07:00 July, 16 in Moscow time zone). We encourage you to donate in early, because matching funds will likely run out before the end of the day.
Thank you for all you do for these children! Thanks to your participation there are such wonders as in Luisa's life!
