The project is well dedicated to helping 800 Girls against cultural practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is on the ride among some people in Korogwe District in Tanzania.Girls are affected by this bad cultural practice and gets psychological problems,ending their educational carriers, contracts reproductive health problems,faces early marriages and increasing the spread of diseases such HIV/AIDs.We are planning on providing education and training to local community members to end FGM.
There is High rate of Female Genital Mutilation in Korogwe District, which affects girls at small age and mid puberty girls who face this bad cultural practice and causing them to drop out of schools, transmission of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, and psychological trauma as well as early marriages which is associated with this bad cultural practice, affecting general prosperity of more than 700 girls.
The project will invest in 10 villages training and survey evaluation, to extract a feasible information to ensure we erase the main cause of FGM, working out with schools to track all girls in danger of attending FGM and keep them in safe camp, paying schools fees to students who have been rescued against FGM and accessing local community with negative impacts of FGM
The long term impacts are; Ending of spread of diseases such as HIV/AIDS,Creating a bright future for girls students Keeping safe of Reproductive health of girls in the community and removing psychological trauma arising from FGM
