The Project aims at helping 600 girls to abstain from Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Chalinze District in Tanzania.Thr project Initiative aims at Providing education to local communities, primary and secondary schools also helping girls to attain Education and prosperous future.
There are cases of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) which mainly focuses on Girls.There are various strategies to work on reducing and eliminating FGM, the problem affects a lot of girls and stop them from accessing education, spread of disease such as HIV/AIDS in situation which detains whole future of young girls.
The project thinking on the provision of reproductive health education to local communities and schools to rescue 600 girls from bad cultural practice of Female Genital Mutilation , the whole problem will be counter attacked by providing education, and conducting villages education to ensure many people to gain knowledge on the adverse impacts of FGM, Girls who are helped to avoid this bad cultural practice will be helped in attending schools by providing them with school materials and fees.
The potential long-term impacts of the project includes, Providing knowledge on the negative impacts of Female Genital Mutilation and raising awareness of the local community members including 10 villages. Also Providing reproductive health education to 1000 Girls to ensure that they can sustain their adolescent stage and attain prosperous future and greening their future. Also reduce and Stopping the spread of diseases such as HIV/AIDS which can occur during the period of FGM.
