Help Keep Families Together

Step Ahead addresses many of the factors that make people more vulnerable to trafficking. We address some of the top reasons for trafficking. 

Such as:

Poverty - Step Ahead helps single moms, aunties, and grannies make extra income to help their families sustain, by making available micro-grants to run their small micro-enterprises. Whether the business is selling Thai noodle soup or Japanese sushi in Bangkok's largest slum or raising fish in a tank beside their house out in a rural village of Southern Thailand, the increased income makes a huge difference in the stability of the family and their capacity to sustain well.  

Lack of Education-  Helping children stay in school and finish their education changes the equation for poor families. Educational stipends through KFT means children do not withdraw from school because of the lack of resources, rather they get more confidence and more ability to work and help their family in the future as they have greatly increased earning opportunities.

Lack of confidence and financial understanding - Through mentoring and training, families become much more resilient and able to face whatever challenges come. Keeping Families Together (KFT) program addresses issues at the roots through prevention and delivering hope for the futures of poor families and children.

Altogether children and families in Thailand find hope, where they once faced dead ends and insurmountable challenges.
